Why should I have faith in Jesus Christ (Christian Faith)?

            This means that if we truly have faith in Lord Jesus Christ, even as small as a mustard seed then all that you say in faith will happen.

What is Faith?
            Faith is the confidence or trust you have in a person. To develop Faith in a person first some one has to introduce us to that person then we experience their attitudes, behavior etc, for a period of time and if the person is good then we start believing in that person. This belief develops faith in the person.
            Similarly when we read the Bible we start to know the Living God. Then when we just take a small step to obey His will we find the God in the Bible coming alive. This is because the Living God is true and He listens to our prayers and is watching us always. Just try Jesus you will experience true love & Joy which is unexplainable.

How does Faith work?
            Faith works only if there is action. Faith builds obedience and trust without any doubt. For Example unless there is any trust or confidence or faith in a doctor you are not going to consume the medicines prescribed by him or oblige to his words. But if you believe or have faith in that doctor you just do everything as per his words, consume medicine, avoid cool drinks or gargle your throat etc. And then get recovered too.
           Faith works only when you believe that God is all powerful and is listening to what we say and then put this belief into action in life. example, A prayer with faith in Jesus will heal the Sick.

What is Christian Faith?
            Trusting in the ability of the Living God who created heaven & earth and all that we know is faith in God or Christian Faith. Without this faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek him. –Hebrews 11:6. Therefore let’s ask, believe and receive in Faith.
            Miracles of Jesus Christ are all based on faith. In Mathew 9:2, 22, 29, Mathew 15:28, Mark 5:34, it’s clear that though God wants to help us we can’t receive his healing because of our lack of faith Mathew: 13: 58, 14:31

How much faith is needed?
            About the level of faith in Mathew 17:20, Jesus said that faith as small as a mustard seed can do great things. So let us develop faith and get ready to receive wonders and miracles from God.

Well how to develop Faith & receive my healing, breakthrough, peace etc?
Here are some simple steps to develop faith are
            1. Believe the existence of all powerful living God
            2. Listening to the word of God - Read Bible and wait on the Lord.
            3. Understanding and accepting the word of God , which in other words can be obeying God
            4. Holding good relationship with God through personal prayers, reading the word of God an also by praising and worshiping God.

Jesus teaching about faith.
            Jesus got into a boat, and his disciples went with him. Suddenly a fierce storm hit the lake, and the boat was in danger of sinking. But Jesus was asleep. The disciples went to him and woke him up, “Save us, Lord!” they said, “We are about to die!” “ Why are you so frightened?” Jesus answered. “How little faith you have!” Then he got up and ordered the winds and the waves to stop, and there was a great calm. Everyone was amazed. “What kind of man is this?” they said. “Even the winds and the waves obey him!”     Mathew 8:23-27          

Jesus raises the dead 
While Jesus was saying this, a Jewish official came to him, knelt down before him, and said, “My daughter has just died; but come and place your hands on her, and she will live.” So Jesus got up and followed him, and his disciples went along with him. A woman who had suffered from severe bleeding for twelve years came up behind Jesus and touched the edge of his cloak. She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will get well.”  Jesus turned round and saw her, and said, “Courage, my daughter! Your Faith has made you well.” At that very moment the woman became well.
            Then Jesus went into the official’s house. When he saw the musicians for the funeral and the people all stirred up, he said, “Get out, everybody! The little girl is not dead-she is only sleeping. Then they all laughed at him. Bit as soon as the people had been put out, Jesus went into the girl’s room and took hold of he hand, and she got up. The news about this spread all over that part of the country.             Mathew 9:18-26
