Suicidal Thoughts - Serious thought on how to end one's life is called suicide thoughts.

Who committed suicide in the Bible - Few people who killed themselves in the Bible.
1. Matthew 27:5 So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself.
2. 1 Samuel 31:4-5 ...Saul took his own sword and fell on it. When the armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he too fell on his sword and died with him.

How suicidal thoughts starts - Origin of suicidal thoughts?
1. The Bible says when king Saul disobeyed God in 1Samuel 16:14 "But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him." Later from 1Samuel 19:9-10 we find how king Saul wanted to kill David. But in the end King Saul ends his own life i.e. he committed suicide.
2. Similarly we find in Luke 22:3-4 Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve. And Judas went to the chief priests and the officers of the temple guard and discussed with them how he might betray Jesus.
   So the thought to kill and the start of suicidal thoughts in a person is by the evil spirits.

Why is Satan putting suicidal thought into a person?
The Lord created the angel of light with great beauty and power to praise the Lord but when he became proud of himself and wished to become God, he was punished into the Earth and became Satan the evil one. Man was created in his place to praise the Lord Isaiah 43:21. Satan in his anger is trying his best to destroy the Lord's creation by making man to disobey (sin) God's commandments by all his evil ways like anger, pride, lust, suicidal thoughts etc. But the God who created us wants us to leave a victorious life Genesis 1:28.

How and when does Satan enters into a person?
Jesus tells in John 10:9-10 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. The Lord also said in Revelation 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

Why Jesus is the gate and Satan sneaking in through week places?
Jesus is gentle and righteous, even when we are in sin Jesus loves us. He will (knock at your door) show you how good & holy your life will be if you obey Him and then the almighty creator God waits patiently for your invitation. How to prevent suicidal thoughts from entering us?
Evil forces conteniously force suicidal thoughts into a person. So to prevent suicidal thoughts
1. We should close all the loopholes for Satan to sneak into our life. We have to be holy obeying the word of God i.e. no adictions, lust, anger, evil movies etc.
2. We have ask the Lord to forgiveness of our wrong doings and get His protection against all the evil forces.

Evil forces are spirits they have power so we have to ask God's help to overcome these evil forces. The Bible teaches us in Ephesians 6:11-13 "Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand."
       So our struggles in life is not against people (flesh and blood), but against the evil forces.

How can I get rid of suicidal thoughts and Satan?
      But the Bible says in 1 John 4:4 "You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world." This means that the Lord who is in you is greater than all the evil forces. Now how does the Lord come into us. If you trust in the Lord and invite Jesus, He will come into your life, Jesus came in my life, He will surely come in your life and give you peace. Just believe in Jesus and say this prayer.
     "Dear Lord, I believe that Jesus is the Son of the Living God who came to this world as a living sacrifice for all my wrongdoings. I accept you as my savior and request you to forgive all my sins and take charge of me from now on forever. In Jesus name I pray, Amen."     Amen means "So be it".
       If you sincerely said the prayer then you are surely saved for ever. However the evil one will still try to tempt you to commit the same sin. The Bible says in Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." Step 1 - Seek the Lord to overcome suicide thoughts
       Bible also teaches in Psalm 9:10 "Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you." To seek the Lord is to ask Jesus Christ in prayer.
      How to Pray to Jesus Christ to remove suicide thoughts and to be set free from all your problems.
       From a calm place close your eyes just for concentration, remember the Lord is listening to whatever you say so
1. First ask Jesus Christ to forgive all your wrong doings.
2. Then just tell out all your problems to the living God. Just tell Jesus Christ that I cannot bear these problems any more so I surrender my life to your care, please take charge of my life hence forth and set me free from all my problems. Do end your prayer with "I ask in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen."
3. Don't forget to ask Jesus to remove all your suicide thoughts also. Jesus loves you so just ask Him as you would talk to a friend however remember to honor Him as He is the King of the universe.
       

Step 2 - How to overcome suicide thoughts if Satan brings it again?
      Satan is cunning, he will wait for a time when you are facing a problem and will try to bring in you the idea of ending your life.

How to get rid of these evil suicidal thoughts when it comes again?
Bible says in James 4:6-8(NIV) (he=Jesus Christ)
6 But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:
       "God opposes the proud
       but shows favor to the humble."
7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
       In step 1 - You have asked for forgiveness for your sins and also have submitted yourselves to God for protection etc. Now how to resist the devil, it's very easy now as you are under the protection of the Lord just tell this small prayer and the Lord will take care of the rest.
